Body of Work is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. When we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website or through our waiver, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Body of Work may update this policy periodically and subsequently update this page and therefore it is your responsibility to check this page periodically to ensure that you are still in agreement with our policy.

Personal Information we collect or obtain includes:

- Contact details (e.g., name, address, email, telephone number),
- Personal details (e.g., date of birth, education, nationality),
- Financial and transaction data (e.g., purchase history, account information, shipping and billing information, etc.), and
- Other related data (e.g., customer requests, statistics, etc.).

Furthermore, we may collect information regarding your location (including your IP address), your objectives, your preferences, user feedback, or other product or service related information. 

2. How We Collect Information

Body of Work uses trusted third party providers to store client data.

 

Physical Body of Work Address
Many of our students choose to sign up for our classes in person and therefore we take down the information you provide on our paper waivers and then input that information into Pike13 and MailChimp. Paper waivers are stored in a secured safe. 

 

Pike13
We use Pike13 to store all data associated with creating a Pike13 profile, scheduling classes and accepting payment. Pike13 stores all data in servers and backup servers located in the United States. Pike13 has Privacy Shield certification which complies with GDPR regulations related to transferring data outside of the EU.

MailChimp
Body of Work uses MailChimp for one or more of our newsletter email-opt ins.

From Other Sources
In addition to the information we collect from you through the above, we may receive information about you from other sources, such as public databases, strategic and joint marketing partners, social media pages and platforms, people with whom you are friends or otherwise connected on social media platforms, as well as from other third parties. For example, if you elect to connect your social media account with our business page or our any of our event or group pages, certain information from your social media account may be shared with us, including information that’s part of your profile or your friends’ profiles. 

We need to collect Personal Information in order to provide the requested physical fitness service to you. If you do not provide or enable us to collect the necessary information, we may not be able to provide you with our services at Body of Work. If you disclose any Personal Information relating to other people to us or to our service providers in connection with Body of Work services, you represent that you have the authority to do so and to permit us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

 

3. What we do with the information we gather

We may use your Personal Information for legitimate business purposes, including:

To better understand your needs and to provide you with a better service and promote social sharing:

- To create, and administer accounts, fulfill and record transactions, and provide you with related assistance (e.g., billing help, answer inquiries relating to personal goals, injuries, etc.).

- to customize our website or social media ads to cater to your interests.

EX: those who provide services such as website hosting, data analysis, payment processing services, order fulfillment, information technology and related infrastructure provision, customer service, email delivery, credit card processing, auditing and other similar services.
To you, through message boards, chat, profile pages and blogs and other services to which you are able to post information and materials, including as described in the sections below titled “Testimonials, Ratings and Reviews” and “Public Forum.”
 

5. How to delete, access, correct, or exercise other rights regarding your Personal Information.

Where applicable law allows for such a request, if you would like to request to correct, object to the use, restrict or delete Personal Information that you have previously provided to us, (to the extent this right is provided to you by applicable law), you may contact us at info@bodyofworkstudio.com with the subject line “Data Correction Request (GDPR)” and we will respond to your request consistent with applicable law.

 

If you would like to have your data completely removed from the Pike13 software, you and submit your request to remove your information from Pike13 databases.

 

If you would like to unsubscribe from emails sent from your Pike13 site we can do it on your behalf by changing your communication preference.

We and our third-party service providers may collect other information in a variety of ways. If you submit testimonials, ratings or reviews to our website, social media site, personnel, coaches, owners, etc, any Personal Information you include may be displayed in the Service. If you want your testimonial removed, please contact us at info@bodyofworkstudio.com.

We also partner with third-party service providers to collect and display ratings and review content on our web site.
